WKO with Dominik Wagner & Georg Breinschmid – Double Bass Duo

Two musicians and their double basses open up an entire sonic world: Dominik Wagner meets the versatile composer Georg Breinschmid, whose »Konzert für 2 Kontrabässe« will be performed. Added to this is Bottesini’s famous Concerto No. 1, highlighting the “Paganini of the double bass.” The program is framed by the Nordic-fresh string sounds of Heino Eller and Grieg’s suite »Aus Holbergs Zeit«.
